The first round of the 3rd edition of the Classicos Championship, done on 28th March, had right from the start a success factor by filling up the grid with 28 cars. The Snetterton circuit, a fast and with long straights track, favored the power of GhostSpeed Racing Team Jaguar MK2 “Taxis” with the drivers João Oliveira and João Barbosa taking full advantage out of it.

João Oliveira guaranteed pole position and the win in both races while João Barbosa got 2nd in the Qualifying and 2nd and 4th in the two races.

Despite the more power of the Alfa Romeos 156 GTA, GS Racing driver Eduardo Henriques, in a Lotus Cortina, achieved 3rd in Qualifying. Although, in race the Alfas were superior and Eduardo had to settle for 4th and 5th in the races. JPC Barbosa, in the other GS Racing Lotus Cortina, achieved a modest 13th place in Qualifying but he climbed up in the races to get 9th and 6th.
