The fourth round of the ORW Classicos 3rd edition at Teretonga was the stage once again for an impressive performance by Joao Oliveira; despite Joao Barbosa’s pole, with the other GhostSpeed Racing Team’s Jaguar, after the green light on the first race, Joao Oliveira, second on the grid, took the lead and kept it to the finish line, with Joao Barbosa right behind, making it an ”one-two” for the team. The second race saw Joao Oliveira once again reach to the highest place on the podium, with Joao Barbosa on the third place, a dominant performance by GhostSpeed Racing Team.
GS Racing, with the two Lotus Cortina driven by Eduardo Henriques and JPC Barbosa, had a hard time on a narrow and fast track, where the Alfa Romeo 156 GTA were faster and the competition was tight. Eduardo Henriques got 9th and 7th places, and JPC Barbosa didn’t manage better than two 10th places.
With half the championship complete, four out of eight events, Joao Oliveira leads with 114 points, and Joao Barbosa is third with 73 points; Eduardo Henriques holds 4th place, and JPC Barbosa dropped down to 9th.
On the teams standings, GhostSpeed Racing Team leads leads with 187 points, 72 ahead of the runner up, and GS Racing dropped to 4th place, with 89 points.
