In a press conference at Porto, Portugal, GhostSpeed Racing Team just announced the signing of David Greco for FSR World Championship 2010. The multi-race winner David will partner Laurent Keersmaekers that had just renewed his contract for 2010 with the team. GhostSpeed’s goal is pretty clear now: the team looks to fight to return to the top of the World Championship as in 2008. At the same time, David Greco is aiming at conquering the only title missing in his trophy room, the title of FSR World Champion.
David Greco, GhostSpeed World Championship Driver:
“I have been searching for a team for the 2010 championship for some time now, and I finally found the best team for me. The atmosphere is great and everybody have the same goal as I have, that is, to be among the protagonists of the 2010 World Championship. I wanted a team that made me feel just like at home, that wasn’t neither too big nor too small, and GhostSpeed is exactly what I was looking for.
I am sure everybody at GhostSpeed will do his best, and on a personal note, I will give my best to meet my goal, win the World Championship, and bring it back to the team. I am sure we have everything we need to succeed, and I am thrilled to start this new adventure with my new team. I am really glad to be part of GhostSpeed.”
Laurent Keersmaekers, GhostSpeed World Championship Driver:
“I’m really happy I renewed my contract for the 2010 season with the GhostSpeed Racing team. It has always been a a team with a great atmosphere, even when things weren’t really going like planned. This makes the group even stronger for the upcoming season!
Also the signing of David Greco will bring the team to a higher level. I’m sure we will be able to work well together, in order to achieve the best possible results.
In the world series we also have strong guys running, helping the team developing the setups.
I’m really looking forward to start the new season!”
Pedro Rodrigues, Team Owner and Manager:
“I’m really happy with the signing of David and Laurent. We have been looking to build a really strong team for the 2010 Season with a good group of drivers that can work together in a great atmosphere.
In my first talk with David I felt right away that he was the right guy for us. His motivation and commitment towards the next season impressed me and it completely matches our own will and feelings. David is for sure one big step in the right direction towards our goals. I’m really happy to have him onboard. Welcome David!
I’m also very happy to see Laurent renewing his contract with us. He has been with us all year and he’s a very nice and committed guy. He had a hard 2009 season full of bad luck and missed opportunities that didn’t let him show his true skills and potential. I’m sure Laurent will show them next season.
Let’s move on to 2010! Go GhostSpeed!”
