Project 500 Miles

The Project 500 miles, is a project composed by our friend Bruno Marques and David Greco, that have the very ambicious goal of participating with their own very team at the most prestigious Endurance Karting event in the world, the 500 miles of Granja Viana. This race is an annual event, at which severall ex and actual real Formula 1 drivers attend. The project also pretends to promote SimRacing.

As stated in their website:

"Project500Miles is the web home of the SimRacing team, a new karting team created with the aim of putting several top Simulation Racers at the wheel of a contender kart in the 2009 500 Miles of Granja Viana, one of the premier karting events in the world.

Started by David Greco and Bruno Marques, both champion sim racers, the SimRacing team aims to use the 500 Miles of Granja Viana to demonstrate the ability of talented sim racers when racing head-to-head with professional drivers; and to use this event as a spring-board towards real racing.

The SimRacing Team has launched Project500Miles.com to raise both awareness and support of the project. The team needs financial backing to make our project come to fruition, as well as greater awareness of simulation racing as a means to find and develop racing talents.

For details of our financial needs, please Contact Us. We are pleased to meet with potential backers to discuss the investment needed in this project, and also happy to accept PayPal donations in support of Project500Miles.
