PTCC Started at Brands Hatch

Yesterday was run the first round of the PTCC league, at Brands Hatch, and GhostSpeed Racing Team, who lined up with five racers managed to secure four podiums in the two legs. The pole position was taken by Luis Azinheira, but the race would be a different story as a series of incidents would put him out of contention. But even with this upset, GhostSpeed managed to get into the front trough Rui Azevedo and Filipe Santos at both races.

The duo from the GhostSpeed Racing Team squad, finished 2nd and 3rd in both legs, shuffling positions between them. Filipe was 2nd at leg one, with Rui finishing behind him. At leg two it was Rui to get 2nd and Filipe 3rd.

But GhostSpeed had other racers at Brands Hatch, with João Barbosa and Diogo Castanheira making their debut with the GS Racing squad. The results weren’t what they expected, but still, they managed to show good pace and score some points. At leg two, Diogo managed to be fourth until he had to withdraw from the race, and João Barbosa, who had a connection timeout at race one, making him to start from the back of the grid, recovered to a good final 8 position.  

Altough GhostSpeed didn’t win any race, it has already a comfortable lead at the team standings.
