The wait is finally over. One of the season highlights for GhostSpeed, the Formula Racing Challenge league, as started this week with the races of the Formula BMW and GP2 classes taking place. Spread through four teams and seven racers, the team took over the challenge, and as for now, it has come out of them in a winning way. Both at the FBMW class and at the GP2 one, GhostSpeed Racing Team has with more or less difficulties won both races.
The Formula BMW race was held last Monday, at the Lime Rock Park, and for GhostSpeed lined up five racers. JPC Barbosa would be the best for the Team, as he took the win after other driver’s bad strategy, took them to an extra pit stop. After the good results at the PTCC, he keeps scoring big for the Team.
After Barbosa, only other Team driver would take points. Guilherme Marques, would eventually finish 10th, after a bad race start. The other drivers were less fortune as all had to withdraw from the race.
At the GP2 class, the result was easier, but could be even better, as after Filipe Gonçalves won the race, Marco Ribeiro had to quit from race with connection problems. Marco also scored the pole position at the Melbourne race.
Next week, will be the turn of the big boys at the F1 team to play the game also at Melbourne, on the 9th of April.
