The 2nd round of the GT-Portugal 2008 league finally took place this week, and yet again the result wasn’t the most satisfactory, even tough all cars finished. In the GT1 field Miguel Lopes lined up again with Pedro Costa, as in the GT2 cars, only Vitor raced. The race would start in good shape after Miguel Lopes took the pole position, with Pedro being second. The race would be a different matter tough, with a strategy mistake, after rain appeared, costing the team a good result.
Miguel would be one of the few to stop while raining, leaving this way his lead at the time. The rest of the race would be made of a restless effort to recover as many positions as possible, but in the end a 11th place would be a frustrating and an undeserving finish for one of the fastest racers on track at Silverstone. Pedro Costa would not have an easy race, and although is result wasn’t compromised by race strategy, some race incidents took him away a most probable podium finish, as the Portuguese race ended in P4.

The team will now have a hard task for the 3rd round, as the championship will go to the urban and twisty streets of Long Beach, where good results will finally come up.
