Qualification would be good, with André Melo doing the best time for the team with P2, being followed by Miguel in P6. In GT2 Tiago and Vitor would get P7 and P8 respectively.
The race in GT1, would be calm, and the team would get the best of a stable strategy to not compromise the final result. André would go almost all race in P2, and although P1 was not within reach in the last part of the race, P3 was far enough for him to race comfortable. P3 position, that for a good part of the race, was within Miguel hands until he got an incident with a GT2 car, that destroyed his hopes of two podiums in a row.
On the GT2 field, things would keep the last race trend, with GhostSpeed improving and closing up on the podium. Thats what happened, with Tiago Nunes having a tough, but consistent race, rewarded with a final P3 position. It was the first one of the season in this class. Vitor on his side had another low profile race, but still made it to the points, by claiming position 8 in the final.
All in all, it was one of the team best races of the year or GhostSpeed, with two podiums and three points finishes. Next race will take place in the twisty Virginia raceway on the 7th of May.
