The first race was marked by a some incidents that destroyed team hopes. Both team car parted mid grid, with Tiago being the best for GhostSpeed, as he started P3 in the GT2 class.
Although race seemed from start to be set for a consistent result, soon the team would learned the hard way, how Virginia race course can be cruel. Both Tiago and André, while being the team best in their respective classes, crashed with other cars, which destroyed their races. On their side, Vitor and Miguel had a smooth race, but only Miguel would reach the points, by finishing in position 5 at the T1 class. On the ECP championship, the lonely duo of Miguel and Tiago where on course for another good result, but this time bad luck would strike Miguel as some problems in the pitbox would put his race to an end. Tiago on his side, would get another podium, with another good 3rd position, making another step on his improvement
Not the ideal result, but with half of the championship behind, its now time to look into the next races, which will also be important. Next one is set to take place at the North American city track of St. Petersburg on the 21st of May.
