With one round to go, GhostSpeed Racing Team sealed the last title left to conquer at the 2006 SRPF1 edition. Luis Azinheira was second at Imola, and was crowned the first Champion at the Portuguese F1 league. But the race had other highlights, as Filipe Santos who just joined the team, won his first race since his debut in Montreal. João Barbosa made the Pole, but failed to finish the race, he has granted tough, the second overall position at the league.
The last round will be held at Bahrain, next Monday, on what will be the last race of the season.
