 After two sucessfull seasons at the Portuguese F1 league, where GhostSpeed conquered everything, the teams main bet for 2008 season, as been making the most of it, and now leads confortably the championship. Filipe Santos carries the teams hope, and alongside João Barbosa and João Oliveira, he has won already four traces in nine possible. João Barbosa has won two more, making this way 6 for the team this season.
The young star Filipe Santos started his cruise control mode at Melbourne where he won the Australian GP, and would be repeating the result at the Spanish GP, The Canadian GP (race always won the the seasons eventual champion) and lastly at Silvertone, where he won over the finish line, after a contender dnf in the last metters. Pass side that, he has been also the consistency man, after being in the podium for none than 7 times. A pole position is also in his pocket.
To join up to those results, we have João Barbosa's (mid season joiner) two wins, three podiums and two poles. With just four races challenged, the driver from Porto is already in top 5.
The other team regular contender, João Oliveira (the Weed man) hasn't been so regular, but he's been keeping GS Racing at the 2nd spot place in the teams table.
