The first GhostSpeed Bullrun 1000 participation has been disputed, and altough the team fought a good race, the final result would be a good second place. Rickard Hellsten and Andras Kiraly where the players on charge, and for a moment in the race, On the GS Corvette powered car, Rickard Hellsten started the race, leaded for a couple of laps, before having to pass earlier the car to driver Andras Kiraly. The Dutch driver had to do a tremendous effort and drove for almost four hours.

 

The 2nd season of GhostSpeed Racing Team, at the Formula SimRacing World Championship, started with higher hopes for the team than in 2007. Of course that was due to the latest team addition, of none less than Bruno Marques itself. That boosted team’s hopes for the 2008 season, but more team members reinforced the team task in this championship. Some old faces remained, some news faces jumped on board. But regardless of it, at the final, glory was ours. The 2008 World Championship titles are home.

After a short absence from Endurance races, GhostSpeed Racing Team will be back to competition, for the prestigious USPits Bullrun 1000 race, one of the best SimRacing classics. This endurance race goes back to 1997, and is probably the oldest and longest runing race to today. GhostSpeed will be lining up for the first time, and will have at the wheel of the Corvette two known faces in the team. Rickard Hellsten and Andras Kiraly will take the challenge to the twisty and challenging Bullrun track.
